Science on Tap: Pocono Lakes in a Changing World

May 16 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Learn about how to get involved with citizen science on Lake Wallenpaupack, why the lake turns green, tips for responsible lake and pond management, and more! Each month, the Pike/Wayne Conservation Partnership will host a speaker on a different science topic at a local brewery or restaurant for an informal public presentation and discussion. May’s topic is Pocono Lakes in a Changing World, featuring Dr. Beth Norman, Director of Science and Research at Lacawac Sanctuary, as the night’s speaker. This is a free-to-attend discussion, no registration necessary. All are welcome to purchase food and drinks from the venue individually.
