Fishes of Lake Wallenpaupack

The LWWMD is THE organization responsible for measuring the physical
and chemical condition of Lake Wallenpaupack. Through regular
sampling with complicated probes, gauges, nets and meters, constant
water testing insures that water quality meets or exceeds standards
required to insure safe use for boaters, water skiers, fishermen and
swimmers. Seeking out the points of pollution within the 212 square mile
watershed, and addressing the problems are also paramount missions.
While financial grants are part of the process it’s individual and business
contributions that allow the work to continue.
